I was about 99.9% sure that it was a girl (don't ask my why I thought I knew... I have no instincts whatsoever), but there was no doubting the ultrasound. The doctor got right to it, showed us the monitor and asked, "What do you see?" I shook my head in disbelief, and responded, "Junk. I see junk." Then I looked over at Josh, who had some kind of smirk plastered on his face. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, but asked later when we left the office what his grin was all about. He nonchalantly replied, "Oh nothing. Just that there was a lot of junk. Our boy has a lot of junk." Uh huh. I'm sure.

Having a boy...
We found out a week ago, but I'll make the formal announcement that we will be having a boy. Oh, and my due date is August 11.

that is SOOOOOO awesome! Not that i am biased or anything - but boys first are TOTALLY the best!!!! I love little boys! Super chill, non-hormonal, easygoing, handsome, and cute as buttons - our little dudes can be friends! Also, chip did the same thing about the junk - definitely a male ego boosting thing right? call me cuz we need to catch up BAD!!!!
Ah, how fun! Congrats! We love our little girl, but when we were in the ultrasound room and found out that we were having a boy next I suddenly started shaking all over and we couldn't see the u/s screen anymore. Apparently my hubbie got so excited that he started shaking my leg real hard! Guys are so funny when they get their first boy!
Boys are so much fun! We are so excited for you guys and are so glad we were able to see you last weekend!

What is it with guys? I told you about our experiences in finding out our boys were boys, right? Ty was quite proud too. Duh. I am so excited for you guys!

We do the boy thing too. They are fun, but if I were you I would already be dreading potty training. Wow. Maybe it was just Max. He knows when he has to go and has no problem telling us...the problem is spraying the entire bathroom when he goes :) Good luck!
Yea! Honestly, I think that a boy as the first child is perfect, the rest will have a big brother. And I have to say, I laughed really hard when I read this, love the choice of words. :D
HAHA.... Josh should be proud, not a lot kids out there can have a "a lot of junk" that is impressive. You guys are the best. I miss you too much!! I can't wait to see that little guy, and I want to know what names you are thinking about too.
